This 3 hour course reviews some of the most common liability challenges that real estate

professionals face today. Through discussion, case studies and lecture, this course will assess

the students knowledge in areas of risk. Agency disclosure, multiple offers, seller property

condition disclosure, lead paint law and company policies on recommending service providers

will be covered. A reminder for avoiding anti-trust liability is included as well as factors

considered in procuring cause cases and the benefits of mediation to resolve disputes. The

course will showcase how the Code of Ethics can provide guidance to avoid risk in the real

estate business
