Description
is course is designed to provide an overview of federal and state nondiscrimination laws. The goal is to provide professionals, advocates, and consumers with a
working knowledge of both the Federal and State Fair Housing laws, and resources to contact
for further information. The course covers the provisions and protections of the Acts and the
importance of these laws in interaction with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation of 1973 and the
Americans with Disabilities Act. Participants should be prepared to devote four hours to
training, and Question and Answer periods
