3CE- Professionalism in Unbiased Communications and Brand YOU: Personal Branding- Cheryl Minnick
- Professionalism in (Unbiased) Communications (1.5 hr)
We open doors of misperception by unconsciously inserting implicit bias, stereotypes, and influences in our communications. The 1.5 hour workshop will help attendees identify and eliminate bias from their verbal, written, and nonverbal workplace communications. From adjectives, gerunds, exclamation points, and emojis to uptalking, work-wifery, body language, and word choice, this workshop will help eliminate unconsciously biased communications.
- Brand YOU: Personal Branding (1.5 hr).
We are our own brands. How do we create, express, and own our personal corporate brand? What does our personal brand say about us? The workshop will guide attendees on ways to create, build, and elevate their professional brand in and out of the workplace. From LinkedIn profiles to executive-style resumes, we will analyze how our worth is seen, is differentiated, expressed, and aligned with our company's mission, and our goal and personal values. The session will help attendees understand what it takes in today's marketplace to put their most professional self forward.
