This training provides an in-depth overview of the REALTOR® Professional Standards process, with a clear focus on the distinct roles of the Grievance Committee and the Professional Standards Committee. Participants will gain a practical understanding of how ethics complaints and arbitration requests are reviewed, processed, and resolved in accordance with the REALTOR® Code of Ethics and established due process. Designed for current and prospective committee members, this session emphasizes fairness, confidentiality, impartiality, and consistency in decision-making. Attendees will leave with greater confidence in applying the Code of Ethics, recognizing what constitutes a professional standards issue, and upholding the integrity of the REALTOR® organization while protecting the public and the profession.
